I'm looking for descendants of Balthasar Bort Governor(Goeverneur) of Malacca,Malakka from(1665-1667).He married to Ioanna du Moulin.In 1663–64,He helped a Qing army drive Koxinga's son, Zheng Jing (1642–81), from the Fujian coast back to Taiwan. Ultimately, the Qing sent an armada to put an end to the Zhengs' attacks on its coast, when Zheng Keshuang (1670–1707), Zheng Jing's son and the last of the Zhengs to control Taiwan, surrendered to the Qing. Taiwan was then brought under Chinese imperial administration as an appendage of Fujian province.He turn Hang Li Poh Well in Malacca to into a restricted area, and the walls surrounding the well are believed to have been constructed in 1677.It was from 1665 to 1678, during his term as Governor of Malacca, that the fort in Malacca, assumed its final form.He died in 1670.P/s contact me. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
