William Daker born June 9, 1826 in England buried in Rose Hill Cemetery, Berrien County, Michigan. He married Hannah Hill of England born Feb 13, 1817. She is buried in Rose Hill as well. They had children Harriet born April 1862 in New York who married Benjamin Franklin Russell of Indiana and lived in Chicago. They had children Ella May, Elizabeth, Lillian, Prescott, Jennie and Hannah. Harriet had a sister Mary A, who was born also in New York. There was a brother Walter A born Jan 9, 1849 in Hunslet, York, England who travelled to America with Hannah and William to Berrien County, Michigan. Walter married Margaret Findley and had many children. There are many other Dakers from Berrien County who must be related, there are many family names shared. There is another Daker marriage in my tree down the line...Clara Dell Thompson married Edward Daker. She had children Mae and Lillian Daker. Clara died in 1973 in Lombard, Illinois. The relation would be Harriet Daker's daughter Ella May Russell married Paul Thompson whose father Charles Dell Thompson had daughter Clara Dell Thompson who married Edward Daker. Clara and Edward married in the early 1900's. Who he belongs to is not known. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
