I am looking for information on the YARBER family.My grandfather was Pernell (Purnell) Yarber born about 1900 died about 1969 in Georgia.But not sure of county.His mother's name is either Camilla (or Caprilla)Lavender.She is said to have been born in Jackson county,Georgia.It is also said that his father's name was Frank Yarber(yarborough.But I nothing on him right now.It is said in our family that the "Yarber" name used to be spelled Yarborough,Yarbrough,Yorder.We now spell it YARBER.I know that Pernell had siblings.This is thier names-Lonie (was a Greer),Luna (1st.she was a Meeks 2nd.she was a French.)Leonard Yarber(who is said to have spelled his last name Yarbrough but no proof),Charles Yarber (who is said to have been called charlie)He married a Selma Hill born about 1900.Who was raised by her Uncle Thomas Gosnell.I do not have anything on her family at this time either.If you can help me please email me at mrabbit@tds.net | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
