I would like to know if anyone has the information on my great grandmother. She was married to James Butler who was of Iris descent who came to the gold fields in 185?. Her name was Mary Catherine Brown (?) last name is unknown because of Native American heritage. BIA and Catholic records show her as being all Native American.
