I am searching for a James Skipper, born in Butler County, Alabama about 1873. He was married to a Rose Owens, also born in Alabama. They had a son Robert Skipper. Robert is on the 1920-1930 census for Crenshaw County, Alabama (Yellow Shanks Community). This is the same community that James lived in, yet I have been unable to locate him past the 1880 Crenshaw County, Alabama census, when he was 8 years old.
