My grandfather was Robert Henry Gruubs and he was born in 1883. He married a Myrtle Daisy Kenney and they had five children. Crystal Pearl and William Henry were born in Campbell County (Irongate), Virginia in 1905 and 1906, respectively. William (Pete) Henry, Carl Wilson, Ozzie Granyville and Archie O'Dell were born in Kanawha county (Charleston, West Virginia. I believe my gradfather and grandmother were married in Campbell County around 1903 and they left that area between 1907 and 1915 to move to West Virginia.
