Query Text:

Martha Hodges Crowder and William Crowder were Dollie Crowder Lamb's parents. Found in 1880 census to be in Northampton co. NC. Dollie(kate) married Benjamin Lamb of Southampton co. VA. She died in 1901 when her second child was born. I have no information other than this about the Crowder family. Why did they not keep in contact with Kate's two children? I can not find the family before 1880, or after 1880.
