I'm looking for family members that belong to the George Briggs Smith family that lived in the township of New Brighten,Richmond County, New York in the late 1860's through and into the 1900's. George Briggs was married to a Mary Brigham. They had five children: George Briggs Jr. Smith, Florence elizabeth Smith, William P or H Smith, Mary Ann smith and Everet Grant Smith. From notes of other family members George Briggs Smith had two other wives: Clarissa Emma Wilson who died in this area in 1858, buried in Brooklyn, Kings County, NY. He than moved to Utah married my gggrandmother Elizabeth Entwhistle, left her and went to Chicago, Ill and married Mary Brigham and their family moved back to New Brighten.
