Search for info on family of John W. Hamilton who lived in Randolph County in 1850, 1860, 1870, according to census records. He was a native of Georgia and is belived to have lived in Meriwether County in 1840. One of his sons, James William, was born in Meriwether County, Georgia, in 1841 and married Sarah J. Banks of Chambers County, AL, Nov. 14, 1865, at her mother's house, Mrs.Robert T. Banks. John W. Had several other children.
