I am searching for any information concerning John Darby McIntyre that came over from Ireland around 1845 durning the potato famine. He landed in PA, but eventually moved down to KY. He had two wives. Both named Mary. The first Mary died on the way over here from Ireland. He married his secone wife Mary and had John, George, William, Jack, James, Phil and an unknown girl that left the census in the year 1880. He also had an "adopted" son that was left by a family member or close friend of the family when they died. His name was David. I am searching to find out what his wives last names were, where exactly he came from in Ireland (good possibilities are County DOwn and Tyrone), and who his folks were. I am also looking to see where it was he lived most of his life. THANKS! Michele | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
