BARNES SMITH looking for info on Mrs. Joe Barnes, maiden name was Smith, father's name was Bill Smith Born March 30th 1890,died from complications of pregnancy on 5-18-1925. Believe her first name was Effie but not sure. Born in Macon County, Alabama, died in Lee County, Auburn, Alabama. The youngest of her children were taken to a baptist orphanage in Troy,Alabama following her death. Her children included, Ollie Bell Barnes, Otis Barnes, Marie Barnes, Sonny Barnes, Frances Barnes and more........ Any info would be greatly appreciated.
