Hi, My name is Tom Angell, I'm from St. Anthony, Idaho. I have traced the Angell linage back a long ways, but I'm specifically interested in any photos, stories, or trivia of any kind that in some way includes my specific Angell lineage, starting with Solomon Angell. My Dad was the last Solomon Angell; he let "the ball drop"; he did not name any of his boys, Solomon! I have four sons, all married, in my immediate family and all of them are producing children; my goal is to reinstall the name of Solomon in our family tree. Hopefully, I can find information about any of the Solomon Angells of year's-gone-by. Hopefully, I will be able to "dig" up something that will in some way kindle an interest in perpetuating the Solomon Angell family name, and name one of their boys Solomon. I plan to compile this information and would be more than happy to share it with you, even if you have nothing to contribute to the cause. Your help would be greatly appreciated. For those with an LDS knowledge, one of the grandpas in my lineage was a General Authority; he was the oldest in the family that included Truman O. Angell who was the head architect of several church buildings including the Salt Lake Temple, and Mary Ann Angell, Brigham Young's "main" wife. This Solomon's son, Sol, was my Great Grandpa. He was the one that moved his family to Fremont County, where I and many other Angell's now reside. My Dad's mother, Maria Rose Angell, spent years doing intense Genealogy back in the days of "snail mail". Her old genealogy book is about 10 inches thick! I want to pick up with the non-official genealogy, the real life stories. Hopefully you will be able to help me perpetuate the Solomon Angell name.
