I am researching my great grandather Hugh Livingston who lived most of his life in Sullivan County, MO. He was married to Mary Jane Smith Upchurch (my great grandmother). This was a 2nd marriage for both. Apparently he was previously married to an Amanda Love. Other than a marriage date for he and Amanda, I have no other information on this union. I have little information about his early years and absolutely NONE about his parents other than they were both born in KY. He was born in MO according to an 1862 military census but I'm not sure that is correct data. He could have been born in KY and moved to MO when he was very young. His birth date is estimated based on census as 1843; death 15-Dec-1886. I would be interested in cooresponding to anyone who has more information on him or his children and, of course, especially his parents. I'm a descendent of his son William. UPDATE: A very nice person saw the above post and provided 1870, 1880 census for Hugh & family and the 1900 one for Mary Jane. Many thanks!
