I am researching Thomas Rufus Earls bn Wicklow 1845-8 Parents unknown. He emigrated to NZ from Gravesend on ship "Peeress" which berthed at lyttelton and Timaru.He married Cassandra Basher in Christchurch in 1876 and died there in 1934. Private letters from Ireland mention Heatley Earls as an Uncle,and Emma, Lizzie,Ellen, all Arklow Wicklow and William (US) and Henry as possible siblings or at least related.
