We are looking for more info on the Gaffney family. My grandfather, Thomas, died in Syracuse, NY in 1950. We believe he was born in Scranton, Pa, but he had lived in Brooklyn, Buffalo, and Syracuse. He may have moved to Ireland for a while as a child. His father was John Gaffney, and his mother was Ann McDermott (sp?). Thomas had 3 sisters.
