Looking for information on where Mary Ellen Alexander,from Habersham County Georgia, married Robert Hill Pitts, from South Carolina, in approximately 1911. Any details on her family would be greatly appreciated. What we have before her marriage to Robert Hill Pitts is vague and questionable. Now know documentation of marriage at Stephens Cty Courthouse, GA. Marriage took place 12/1911. And she was from Banks County, GA. Also her name was really Mary Lydia Alexander probably. For some reason she insisted it was not. Any additional information, I will treasure.
