Searching for my great-grandparents, Levi Tolbert and Nancy Ellen Fennel. Levi's parents may have been Menter Talbert of Md. and Christina Smith of Pa. A Levi Tolbert is shown in their home in the 1850 census as one year old. However, in the 1860 census, the only Levi Tolbert shown in the state of Ohio is in the home of Nancy Tolbert, and her sister Matilda, and he is 10 years old. Nancy was born in Md., and her relationship is unknown, though she is believed to be buried with two of Levi's deceased children in Belmont Co. in 1888. Levi was born 1849-1852 in Ohio, Guernsey or Belmont Co. Any leads would be greatly appreciated. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
