Looking for ancestry of my great-great-grandfather, WILLIAM B. ARMOUR, born 21 August 1819, in Dickson County, Tennessee, died 11 Oct 1880 in Alabama and buried in Wesley Chapel Cemetery. Married JENNET JANE FAIRES FAIRES (widow of ALEXANDER FAIRES) 13 Feb 1848 in Lauderdale County, AL. Two children Martha and Malinda. Three Faires stepchildren: Margaret, Andrew, Mary. Census shows him in Lauderdale County, AL in 1850 at age 29, a farmer. Based on 1820 Dickson County, TN recordsm we speculate his father's name could be William Armour and perhaps grandfather Robert Armour.
