 Johan Hoffman b. 2-1820 came to US in 1840 or before. Married Mary Margaret Zimmerman, date of marriage June 8,1840, in St Louis, MO. Settled in Missouri, in Osage County. First child Michael Hoffman born 1848 in Osage County. Would like to know more about both Mary and Johan. I have been told that Johan's father was Sabastain, don't know anything about Mary.
