I am researching my Grandmothers family. Her name was Mary Leta Hicks. Her father was W.J. Hicks. He was born in Alabama and died in San Angelo, Tx. in 1908. His parents were Charles W. and Annie E.( Martin ) Hicks. They came to Shelby,Co. Texas in 1869. In the 1900 census Mary Leta Hicks was living with an Uncle Edward Stephen Hicks and his family. The were living in Tenaha, Tx. at that time. Does anyone have more information on this family? | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
