 I am researching the Hawton family history here in Australia and England. Edward and Jane Hawton left England in 1857 would love to be able to contact distant cousins in England as i am sure there would be some there. As far as we know Edward was the only Hawton on his side that came to Australia, he did have a sister by the name of Matilda and we think she married a Williams but we haven't been able to find them as yet. They were not in the 1881 census so that tells us they either went to USA or Australia, we haven't been able to find them here in Australia. Would love to hear from anyone connected to this family.
