In my office, I have a type-written autobiography of Charles Fleischman. Charles was a life-long friend of my great-aunt, Minnie, from MN. He sent her this work (complete with personal poetry) in 1971 from Oregon. In the autobiography, he says he's about ready to move to Boise in the next few months. According to the SSDI, he died in 11/1975. A (kind)searcher in Oregon tells me he died elsewhere... I'm thinking Idaho. This autobiography has been passed along from family member to family member. My great-aunt, grandfather, grandmother, mother, father all died...and it ended up in my posession. Charles was born in SD, became a life-long educator (Wisconson), married a widow with a 12 year old child and they eventually had twins. Plenty of siblings. Mother's maiden name was Towne. Fleischman is not my ancestor. I am searching for decendants to whom I can pass down this fabulous genealogical treasure. If anyone out there can help, I'd be most appreciative...As, I'm sure, will the elusive Fleischman clan! Thank! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
