My search is for Andrew Jackson Bigham who married Louisa Eliza Cassaday, 29 April 1839, in Kahoka, MO. I believe her father to be Martin Cassaday/Cassady of Jefferson Cnty, Iowa. They lived in Jefferson Cnty during the period 1840-1858. Andrew J. disappeared! 1860 Census shows Louisa Eliza "Bigum" as a widow living with her children in Fairfield, Jefferson Cnty. She married a George Sigman in Jefferson Cnty on 28 Jan 1864. What happened to Andrew Jackson Bigham????. Some believe he left family in Iowa, went to Illinois, and married a Rebecca Jane Abney in 1858. Her maiden name was Bell. Any help or background on any of these individuals will be appreciated. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
