Mary was b. c1791 Franklin Co. KY & d. c1850 Cross Plains, Ripley Co. IN. I don't know anything else about Mary Jackson. Thomas' parents were: William Bassett b. 18 apr 1755 Surrey England & d. 6 feb 1840 Cross Plains, Ripley Co. IN. He m. Margaret McQuiddy 27 nov 1786 Mercer Co. VA. Margaret was b. c1768 Spotsylvania Co. VA & d. 26 sep 1844 Cross Plains, Ripley Co. IN. William's father is believed to be Michel Baset (Basset). Margaret's parents were David McQuiddy b. c1730 Ballymena, Antrim, Ireland & d. c1785 Spotsylvania, VA and Mary Todd Gaines b. c1735 Stafford Co. VA & d. c1797 Woodford Co. (unk. what state).
