CLARK : PULLUM | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Query Text: |
I am interested in contacting anyone who can verify that the Elijah Clark who was born in the Carolinas in 1807, and who lived in Newton County, GA in the 1830s, and moved to Sumter County, GA in the 1840s, and moved to Dale County, AL in the 1850s, first wife's name was SARAH PULLUM. I have seen numerous records stating that the first wife's given name was "Sarah", and have seen one that said that Sarah's maiden name was Pullum. I am seeking verification for that fact! Elijah and Sarah had several children, including a daughter named Mahala (1832-1915), who married Thomas Pullum, and a son named Drayton Clark (1834 or 1835 - ??), who married a lady named Amanda (perhaps Clark, and perhaps even a cousin!) After Sarah's death, Elijah married a second time, this time to a lady named Martha. Elijah and martha are buried in the Clark Cemetery in Houston County, AL, along with a number of their descendents. Thank you for whatever help you may be able to give me! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
