I am seeking information on the ancestors of Thomas Pullum (1822-1888). He MAY have been a brother to Amanda Pullum Bailey, the wife of Peyton W. Bailey. Thomas moved from Newton County, GA to Sumter County, GA in the 1840s with the family of Elijah Clark, his employer. The 1850 cesnus for Sumter County, GA shows him living there with them. During the 1850s the Clarks moved from Sumter County, GA to Dale County, AL, and Thomas again accompanied them. He eventually married Mahala Clark (1832-1915), the eldest daughter of Elijah Clark by his first wife, Sarah (Pullum ??). Any assistance you may offer me will be deeply appreciated!!!
