Query Text: |
I am searching for my great great grandmother Philipina Krumenouer/Rockdaschel's burial site. She came to the US after Feb. 1844 as she was married to my great great grandfather John Rockdaschel Sr.on Feb.1, 1844, in Prussia, Germany. John Sr. had come to the US from Bavaria, Germany in 1839 and settled in the Jefferson, Wisconsin area. He, along with his children, came to Iowa in about 1874 and settled around the Sumner, Bremer County, Iowa area. According to an Aunt, Philipina had died and had been buried in Wisconsin by this time. One granddaughter Etta (daughter of John Jr.)and her husband Charles Hack moved back to Wisconsin sometime between 1906 and 1907. John Rockdaschel, Sr. Died December 17, 1882 and is buried in Wilson Grove Cemetery in rural Sumner, Bremer Co., Iowa. The spelling of his name on the head stone is "Rocktaschel" If you can help me with any information. Please contact me at lakecity1@iowatelecom.net | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
