Query Text: |
Looking for Benjamin or James NASH. Born about 1810 in Louisiana. married about 1830 to Hannah or Mary Perkins. Died in 1888 and buried in Madison or Madisonville, Texas. Traditionally, in our family, Benjamin was a Choctaw chieftan who signed the Treaty of Dancing Rabbit Creek using his Choctaw name. Nobody in our family knows what the name was. I would like to know what it was and who Benjamin's parents were. This may not even be the correct Benjamin. I have another listed in my research who was born in 1830-1840 and married Elizabeth Goodman. That is all I know about him, except that he had a daughter named Lacey Marie Nash who was my GG Grandmother. I have no dates or places for this Benjamin. It is possible that his middle name was James. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
