Query Text: |
James Riley and wife Rosa Lamphere came to New York from Ireland mid 1800s. Son Simon was born in Ireland and came here w/parents. I am researching the line of son James Jr. Mother Rosa died or divorced-unsure. When James Sr. came to Michigan he was married to a much younger woman, named Mary Moore. They had a family besides his children from the first marriage. It's rumored that he was married 3 times total. This family settled in Barry County, and son James ended up in Isabella Co. Father James Sr. and Mary are said to be buried in Mecosta Co. at the St. Michael's Catholic church cemetery. Riley family settled in and around Blanchard, MI. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
