Query Text:

 Thomas Wooddell (Waddel, Waddal, Wedell)born 1710 near the "Great Wooded Dell" or Great Glen in Scotland. In early manhood, after spending a few years in England, he migrated to Pennsylvania in the United States. He then purchased a farm of about seven hundred acres of land in Augusta County, Virginia. He died in the year 1785.
