Seeking information on family of Nathaniel Miller Alton and Lucinda Bartrug Alton. He was born 16 May 1845, Wood Co., WV and raised by his grandparents, Samuel and Nancy Santee Alton. His parents are unknown. He married Lucinda Bartrug, 12 Apr 1870, Meigs Co., OH. She was born 14 May 1850, Wetzel Co., WV, a daughter of Peter B. and Mary Alton Bartrug. Their children were: Jasper, Newton, Butler, Nancy, Oty, Peter, Mary "Molly" Reynolds, Arthur & Alonzo. Nathaniel died 12 Apr 1937, Walker WV and Lucinda died 7 May 1934, Walker WV. They are buried in the Skidmore Cemetery, near Dallison, Wood Co., WV. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
