Researching Keating side of family. Have information back to my gggrandfather, Richard Keating, who married Nancy Katherine White in Talbot Co., GA. Was born in 1811, possibly in SC.Moved to GA, married had 3 children in GA, one of which was my ggrandfather, John Thomas. Moved to Pickens Co., AL before the Civil War, and during the War moved to MS.He was killed in a cyclone in April, 1883 in Beuregard(?spelling) MS.I can not find any information further back.
