I am trying to find information on my great grandfather, Isaac Newton Blood, and his parents. We recently discovered that Isaac's mother or grandmother was Native American and I am hoping to find out what tribe or nation we are connected to. Name: Isaac Newton Blood DOB: 5/12/1888 (SSDI) Date of Burial: 8/16/1965 (Highland Memory Gardens, Des Moines, IA) Married: Nellie Couch (Date of her Burial is 10/2/1978, same source as above) My grandfather Leroy worked in the cemetery when he bought the plots, so Grandpa Leroy and Grandma Edna are buried at the feet of Great Grandpa Isaac and Great Grandma Nellie (Grandma's parents.) Isaac and Nellie lived in Minnesota at the time of Edna's birth. I am not sure when they moved to Iowa, but this seems to confirm that he passed in Iowa and I do remember Grandma Nellie a little bit from when I was small. I know that she lived with my Great Aunt and Uncle in Iowa when I was very small. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
