Trying to trace the Anderson Family Tree. My grandfather (Thomas Floyd Anderson) was borned in the year of 1890 somewhere in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. He always told me that he was borned in a town/village/city called Jomtown. Per the Kentucky's Land Management Department there were three Jimtown's in three different couties (Fayette, Montgomery and Wasshington). His brother John Erastus (Ras)Anderson, according to his obit was borned in 1888, at Star Furance, Cater County, Kentucky. He had two sisters Anna Lee and Bridie. I cannot find any information as to who their parents were. In an old census he did indicate that his parents were from North Carolina. I did find a John and Omah Anderson in the 1910 census of Iron Hill, Carter County, but cannot find any information about them. If any one has any type of information pertaining to the Anderson's please advise. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
