I am looking for info on Rev David Boyd, Ruby Washington,Rev George Shamley, George Mays, and Lewis Tucker; these men started and were the head of the first black Baptist church in my community, Putnam Hall, Florida in 1800, about 1874.. I found where a George Tucker was born in Nov. 1857. These men come from S.C. I think. I would like to something if anything about them for historical records. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
