searching for relatives of grandfather, William Irvin Davis, born May 1874, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Fathers name was Vincen. Believe mothers name was Louisa. Had siblings. Left home during teen years. Built roads all over the South. Married Elva Ellsworth Magruder about 1916 and lived in Rockville, Maryland until 1952 at the time of his death. Had one son born in Macon Georgia in 1921 named William Elmer. My grandmother destroyed all information that we might have able to trace before her death in 1978. My grandfather had a brother by the name of James who was killed by road crew member in the early nineteen hundreds in North or South Carolina and was buried next to a railroad.
