Would appreciate some assistance in obtaining information regarding birth of my Grandfather. Not sure if he would be listed as Roy or Louis Smith. Documents I have reflect both. Parents would have been Daisy Laura Daniels (maiden name) and George Hartford Smith (Dr.). I have records indicating Daisy was in Cuming, NE immediately prior to Nebraska State Census of 1885. It appears as if Grandpa was born within a month of the census. Sometime between 1885 and 1893, she divorced George Hartford Smith and married Leonard Augustus Miller in Iowa. Also understand my Grandfather had a full brother Clyde. Not sure if he is older or younger but believe younger.
