 I am looking for information on James Caraway family who lived in Oldham Co Ky in 1840's and 1850's. Who was James Caraway's parents? When was James born and where? I know he was born between 1780 and 1790. He married Elizabeth (Betsy, Patsy) Crown in Washington DC in 1816. They had nine children. James was in the 1840 Census but not 1850 so must have died during that time. Could this James Caraway be the son James of Bedreadon Carraway from NC? I have many reasons to believe so, but need proof. Please reply if you have any information about this family. Thanks. Anna Rae Manges
