I am looking for any descendents of Philip MOON - Master Mariner of Shoreham Sussex England - Born Steyning Sussex 1823. He married Mary Ann ELPHICK - born Shoreham Sussex 1834. They had at least 6 children according to 1881 Census - all born in Shoreham. Peter MOON - b 1860 Grocer Assistant Isaac MOON - b 1862 Board School Teacher Jake MOON - b 1866 (Actually Jacob Obadiah - Migrated to Ballarat Victoria Australia prior to 1891) Philip MOON - b 1869 (Possibly James Philip) Lydia MOON - b 1873 (Possibly Mary Lydia) Benjamin MOON - b 1875 I am descended from Jacob Obadiah and have no idea what happened to the rest of his family. Did they stay in England or come to Australia? Are some of their descendents my next door neighbours? Anyone out there that can help find my relatives, your help would be much appreciated.
