I am looking for anyone who may have known or know of the family of George G. Morton who lived for several years in the Holloways Township of Person County. George was married three times all three in Person County. In his later years after 1900, he migrated to Wake County with family. Georges' wives were: Redora Inge(1), Jane Nelson (2), and Ella C. Baird Day (3). He had children by all three wives and they were closely related to the Buckley Walker family in Person County. Other surnames connected to this family in Person are Chandler, Baird, Day, and Walker. I have exhausted all efforts to determine who George G. Morton's father was also. He is listed as Thomas on George's death certificate and it list George's mother as Bettie Inge. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
