Josiah H.K. Miller, served in the One Hundred and Seventy-third Regiment, Company C Recruited in Lebanon County as a private and again in the Two Hundred and Fifth Regiment, Company H recruited in Berks County as a corporal. This info I have researched myself on the internet. He married Rebecca Bailor and they had one son in 1858 Jefferson Munroe Miller. I have the family bible that I acquired from a cousin who was in California somewhere. She had bought a box of books and inside was the bible. Inside the bible folded into a 1 inch square was the original marriage certificate. I am looking for any info pertaining to this family. There are only the entries for births deaths and marriage for the three above mentioned people. Jefferson died in 1919. How did the bible end up in California in an auction. I wonder if that was the end of the family? Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks Laura Beacom Ontario, Canada | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
