I am looking for information on the family - parents and siblings - of Joseph Houston, who married Lucinda Putman/Putnam 7 March 1827 in Monroe County IN. Both of their families were from KY. Lucinda, b. abt 1810 in Bourbon Cty. KY, was the daughter of James Putnam/Putman. Within a few years of Lucinda's birth the family moved to Bracken County KY and then to Monroe County IN by 1825. Joseph Houston's family was probably in Bracken County KY before moving to Monroe County IN about 1834. His father may have been named James and his mother named Docia/Dosha.
