Looking for info re: Spooner, Riley, Buie families that lived in the Henry,Houston County area in the mid to late 1800s. My father, John Hobson Spooner was born in 1900 to Laura Buie and Henry Monroe Spooner. According to Henry sp;ooner death certificate his parents were John Spooner and Emley Riley Spooner. My father's sister, Kathleen, married Charles F. McLeod of Alabama. Last I knew they were in Dothan. Children of Kathleen & Charles would be charles, Ralph and Laura, all of whom are older than me and I am 59 now. There is a Charles McLeod listed in Dothan phone book. Maybe my first cousin. Appreciate any info you may have. i was raised by my mother's people in Gadsden County, Florida. My mother was a Bassett. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
