Researching the BELL family which lived around Guide Post near Morpeth in 1861 and Broom Hill near Chevington in 1869. Thomas Bell, my great grandfather, was born 17 Jun 1861 in Guide Post. His younger sister Susannah was born in Broom Hill in Mar 1869. Parents were George BELL and Jane JOBSON. Family emigrated to the US in 1870/1871. Other children--George, Jane, Mary (Polly), Joseph and Margaret. Family eventually settled in Fleming, Crawford Co., KS. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
