greetings, for some time now I have been doing my ancestry on my mother and father side of the family. with so many stories that i heard when i was young i decieded to do my own ancestry on my family and gotten so intrique with it. first of let me explan. I have send lots of messasge to other's about my last name and got no where. a part of that was my fault.I did now know what i was looking for or what i really wanted back than. now that i'm home and have the time to do this i'm very anxious if anyone can help me out with this. My family's name is Sustache all from Yabucoa, Puerto Rico Cammino Nuevo. Now according to what i got through the census in 1919 my family's still lived there.The family's name on my father side is "sustache y Vega" now my father who pass away last july 9 1993 his name was gregorio sustache gonzalez, his father, married a sweet young lady by the name candida y fernandez y de sustache. So I was told, so i was told by my brother who was raise by grandma before my brother came home to the state to live with us his family. I also was told that the children takes the mother name also beside the father name. now my father had seven brothers and from what i can tell two sister. now my grandfather name was Don jose vega sustache who married candida.(these are my father parents) I also found my greatfather. Don modesto quiononoes. and his spouse who name was Francisca vega y rodriques de sustache and had young children living at home according to the census. one of them was modesto, and juana. some of the name i just could not make out but i was thril to fine them. I verify all of this with my mother and was very pleased that i was on the right track. now the strange part is this. My mother parents are Julio Vega Vega and his spouse name is luisa Vega y sustache de vega now this is my grandpa on my dad's side sister so i know there are alot of inter marriage. but i sure would like to know more about my family and the story that anyone could share with me and picture of my father and grandparent it sure would be nice. you can email me at moeyabbott@sbcglobal.net please don't hesistate to email me spanish or english is fine. thankyou mary sustache
