 I have heard stories that my great, great grandmother, Matilda Lett, A Cherokee Indian woman from Lamar County,Alabama, once had a relationship with a Sylvanus Estes (cousin of George Brasfield) from either Lee, Tishimingo, or Itawamba County, Mississippi. I heard that she had children born from this relationship. If anyone knows more information about this, I would appreciate their sharing this info with me. Thanks, D. Easter
