My Tysons are from Greene Co., NC. They are very elusive. My gg-grandfather was Wm. M. Tyson, married 1st time to a lady only 6 mos. when she died; 2nd time to Mary Amanda Brand, had two sons and she died about 1865. Third marriage was to my ancestor, Mary Ann Butts and she had 8 children and raised the 2 sons also. I cannot find Wm.'s parents or brother and sisters. I have some names but I do not have confidence in the sources. Mary Ann Butts' parents were Thomas and Dollie (Taylor) Butts. Any information on any of these would be appreciated. Thanks, Jean
