 I'm looking for info on David LAY who married Hannah CLARKE in the 1840's. They had at least 1 son James Lander LAY. James was orphaned at age 4 in 1849 & raised by an uncle. They lived near Mount Pleasant near MacArthur. James married Mary Jane Ballew & fathered William Ellsworth (ELZY) Lay of the famous Wild Bunch.
