Hi, My name is Richard Ferrara and I'm searching for my relatives in the United States, state of New Jersey. I was told that I was born on January 17, 1947 in the city name Bloomfield. I have brown hair and eyes. When I was born, I was born with a congenital deformity of the neck. Plus, I was given some names of my relatives from Catholic Charities. But first, my birth mother name is Jean Ferrara and she was either 15 or 16 years old when she gave birth to me. My grandparents names on my mother side are: Thomas and Virginia Ferrara. I have two aunts who are the sisters of my mother Jean Ferrara. There names are: Marie Ferrara and Minnie Ferrara. Now, these two sisters got married and their married names are as follows: Marie D'Agostino (or D'Agustino) and Minnie Caccavale. There is a possibility that I got their last names mixed up. Also, I was told by the Nuns of Immaculate Conception Orphanage, located in Lodi, New Jersey (no longer in existance) that I was in another orphanage previously before Immaculate Conception. According to my calculation, I must been placed in this orphanage in 1949 when I was two years old. Then when I was five or six years old, 1952 or 1953 Catholic Charities re-located me to Immaculate Conception Orphanage in Lodi, New Jersey. I stayed at Immaculate Conception for 10 years. In 1963, I was re-located by Catholic Charities again to Boystown in Kearny, New Jersey. I stayed there for four years until I graduated from High School in 1967. I want to get in touch with my relatives and let them know that I'm always thinking about them and especially thinking about my mother, Jean Ferrara. I don't have any harsh or bad feelings towards my relatives like I did when I was in my 20's. The reason I say this, when I was in my senior year of high school my caseworker from Catholic Charities asked me if I wanted to see my mother back in 1967. I lost it that day...I was very bitter and angry at my mother for giving me up at an early age. Then as years past and when I got a little older and wiser, I started to think things out. I said to myself, it probably wasn't my mother's fault or any of my relatives. So, if my mother or any of my relatives is reading this...Please accept my apologies for being stubborn and stupid. I most desparately need to be with my mother and relatives. Please contact me at: richard_1947_55@yahoo.com or send me a letter to the following address: Richard M. Ferrara, P.O. Box 632, Denver, Colorado 80201 I LOVE YOU ALL.... | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
