I am currently searching for information on the Davis line of my family tree. At the present time I am working on Samuel L. Davis. He was born in Summers County, West Virginia on 3 January 1843 and died on 4 April 1923 in Greenbrier County, West Virginia. He was married to Sena O. Davis. At this point I believe her maiden name to be O'Neal, (I am not sure of the exact spelling of O'Neal as I have found several). Samuel was one of nine siblings born to William Davis and Eliza Jane (Fox) Davis. I have the death certificate for Samuel and the informant listed on it is John Davis. According to my research John was the name of a child born to Samuel and Sena, but I am unable to confirm if in fact they are the same person. If there is anyone that is familiar with this line of Davis I would love to share info. I have a great deal of information but need to fill in some blanks.
